Rental Groups offering enrollment open to community members.
Events hosted by the community in our spaces.
Alex House provides rental spaces that are open for members of the community to register and use. These events allow the Surrey/White Rock area to take advantage of our facilities to provide recurring or one-time events that benefit our area. These groups are not offered by Alex House. Instead, they are groups who rent and are open to new community referrals.
Because these programs are not provided through Alex House’s services, we do not take responsibility for the content of these programs. Fees may be required.

Crescent Beach Photo Club
The Crescent Beach Photo Club is open to photographers of all levels. They host speakers, enter into competitions, organize themed outings, workshops, and more. There is something of interest to everyone.
We meet in Alex Hall at 7.30 PM the first, third, and (variably) fourth/fifth Wednesday of the month.

The Tora Budokan Ju Jitsu Club
The Tora Budokan Ju Jitsu Club teaches traditional Ju-Jitsu (a self defence system) that covers all basic karate strikes, throws, sweeps, wrist & arm locks, pressure points and escape moves.
The Tora Budokan Ju Jitsu Club trains Tuesday and Thursdays at Alex House. Children's class runs from 6.15 to 7 PM and the adult class runs from 7 to 8.15 PM. Classes for children are $40 per month, and adults are $80 per month.
